A comprehensive overview of the eight essential screenwriting elements: character, concept, genre, plot, tone, structure, theme, and dialogue, establishing the foundation for deeper exploration in coming weeks.
Week 3
Dive deep into character craft, exploring how to build strong protagonists, understanding character arcs and their importance, and examining the types and archetypes that populate successful screenplays.
Week 4
Story Structure is your best friend. I’ll show you why and teach you how to use Fence Posts and Story Anchors to create the framework for a tight screenplay.
Week 5
Explore how concept, genre, and tone interlock as the Holy Trinity, helping you identify what type of movie you’re writing and define your target audience.
